Nurturing Young Minds for a Sustainable Future

Learning today, leading tomorrow for a cleaner and greener world! Our Grade 1 learners explored the theme Sharing the Planet by diving into the importance of caring for our environment through the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Through an engaging “Sort & Stick” activity, students identified and sorted different types of waste into recyclable, food, hazardous, and residual categories—building awareness of responsible choices that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the library, learners read, discussed, and reflected on how small actions can make a big difference for our planet. Their curiosity, teamwork, and thoughtful discussions showed that even the youngest learners can become responsible global citizens.
